I have been working as a graphic designer since graduating with BA in 1983. Designing web spaces for 11 years. I work in Vista, CA, creating web sites, catalogs, packaging, trade show material and marketing promotions.

Originally from South Africa, I am widely travelled, speak several languages, have lots of experiences and now live in California with my family.

Over the years I have worked in various areas of design starting out with good old fashioned amberlith, x-acto knives and a stat camera. It wasn't long before I moved onto more sophisticated environments in print, web and multimedia. Watercolor painting and Sumi-E are my favorite meduims and I love the 3 dimensional quality of ceramic sculpture and functionality of creating tableware.

The work featured here reflects a simple, clean and well thought out approach I take when designing, regardless of the medium. The projects in the portfolio section are from the various positions that I have held, as well as my freelance projects.

In my free time I live for sailboat racing, the tactical precision and strategy are just as much a challenge as the unpredictability and snap decisions of the ever changing weather and course.
